What is the AAT?

AAT stands for the Association of Accounting Technicians, which provides our successful trainees with a well-respected qualification.

What qualifications do I need to be considered?

We are looking for a minimum of at least:
5 GCSE passes grade A-C, including Maths and English at grade B or above, with either three B’s at A-Level or equivalent. We will also consider applicants with a 2.2 degree result in any discipline providing they meet the other criteria.

We do accept international equivalents for all the above qualifications.

What Personal Skills are Needed?

In addition to the academic criteria, we look for the following qualities in applicants:

• A logical numerate mind that can deal with and interpret figures accurately.
• An analytical, inquisitive outlook, always looking beyond the obvious.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong self-motivation - A determination to succeed.
• Strong commercial and Financial Awareness
• The ability to gain the confidence of and co-operate effectively with all levels of clients.
