John Farthing trained as a Chartered Accountant and qualified with Kingston Smith, subsequently achieving Fellowship of the Securities Institute.

As a Director of Kingston Smith Advisers, John provides stockbroking services and is responsible for Kingston Smith Pension Trustees LLP which is the Trustee of the KS Pension Trustees SIPP. John is a Court Assistant and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders and also Chairman of the Securities Industry Management Association. Outside work John has a keen interest in tennis and is Chairman of Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club.
