Peter Holgate has been a partner in Kingston Smith and component firms since 1965 specialising in trust and tax work in addition to accounting and tax advice to small businesses and partnerships of all sizes.

He has considerable experience of listed company audits and other requirements, and is part of the firm's Forensic Accounting Services team, regularly acting as an expert witness including court appearances. Peter is also head of the firm's Tax Investigations Unit. He is Chairman of Kingston Smith's Technical and Training Committee which is responsible for maintaining professional standards. Peter was until 2007 an elected member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
