Simon joined Kingston Smith in 2000 as a graduate trainee, qualified in 2003 and became a General Practice Partner at our Redhill office in 2011.

During Simon's time at Kingston Smith he has been involved with a variety of different clients and scenarios - from hand holding start-ups until they have established their businesses, medium sized companies with accounting, audit and tax advice right through to large manufacturing and retail companies with turnover in excess of £100m. Simon really enjoys helping with problems, be it just picking the right bookkeeping system for a growing business or complex tax and accounting issues. He is an avid believer that the more you put into anything, be it the time you spend, enthusiasm and general effort, the more you will get out the other end.

Over the last couple of years Simon has also been involved in the Firm's bookkeeping offering, developing software packages the firm can offer to existing and new clients. He has completed the Xero certified program and leads the firm advising on this cloud accounting solution package.

Simon is vice-chairman and treasurer of the NSPCC Gatwick Diamond Business Board. This Board was established in 2010 to generate awareness of the NSPCC locally and to help raise money for this very good cause.

Simon lives locally to Redhill and he spends the majority of his time outside of work with his young family.
