Richard Heap

Richard joined Kingston Smith LLP as a partner in September 2010, and is based in both the City and West End offices.

Prior to this, Richard headed up the Telecoms sector at BDO, and before that worked in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications team at Ernst & Young with multinational blue chip clients. He has also worked within the telecoms industry itself, for Cable & Wireless plc and France Telecom. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994.

At Kingston Smith, Richard continues to specialise in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector, and is particularly interested in the mobile internet, digital content, software and web hosting. His clients range from small, fast-growing and entrepreneurial companies to medium-sized enterprises reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK GAAP.
